——Three fold blasting, interpreting blasting art

In August 2005, our company successfully implemented the 100 meter chimney three fold directional blasting demolition technology at Guangzhou Paper Mill, which was the first of its kind in the history of blasting in the world and won the first prize for scientific and technological progress from the China Engineering Blasting Association in 2006. This engineering system has solved the problem of stacking and dismantling of ultra-high buildings, indicating that China has fully matured in the basic theory and construction application of ultra-high building demolition. Hongda's application technology, which represents the leading level of China's blasting industry, has reached the world's leading level and has obtained a national technology invention patent certificate.

The demolition of towering structures by blasting has been a forbidden zone for blasting in China since the 1990s, with disasters such as "reverse" dumping occurring in both the UK and South Africa, resulting in the breaking of the power plant that was in operation. To solve this problem, Hongda Company, based on years of research, undertook the demolition of two 120 meter chimneys at Maoming Petrochemical in 1995. The company's expert team, with solid theoretical foundation and rich construction experience, broke the curse of "nine out of ten chimneys sit" in China's blasting chimney industry. The two chimneys were steadily and accurately dumped onto the designed collapse centerline, which excited the blasting community nationwide. After continuous exploration by the company's expert team, Hongda Company implemented 150 high chimney folding blasting after the United States and Russia, and then successfully carried out the world's first three fold directional blasting demolition of high chimneys. Targeting the demolition of ultra-high buildings - deciphering the complex mechanism of ultra-high building demolition and enhancing the international competitiveness of China's blasting industry.
